THE "REEL" FACTS

Named for the 1947 milestone film produced by U.S. actor John Wayne, Angel and the Badman II is indeed settling things out there on the high seas with winning materials, a crew, and a winning attitude. The 48-foot, semi-custom flybridge, sportfishing yacht is the 2007 overall winner of the world’s richest marlin fishing tournament (Bisbee’s Black & Blue). In addition, Angel’s young, emerging captain and owner – an internationally recognized medical industry executive, also earned the first place championship in the tournament’s 2007 golf competition held during the week. Learn more about how these “sea cowboys,” who simply love to fish because it’s a passion and not a profession, are blazing new trails in oceans around the globe.

      GUIDING PRINCIPLES

• We like to compete; but more importantly,
we love to fish.

• Good sportsmanship is worth more than all the fish in the ocean.

• Be choosy – with products/materials, team, and tournaments. Only engage with those who share ABM II’s beliefs, values, and commitment to quality.

• Luck is when preparation meets opportunity; don’t test your luck by being unprepared for the opportunities that await you.

• "Each human being has an integrity that can be hurt only by the act of that same human being and not by the act of another human being" (Wall plaque inscription – Angel and the Badman, 1947).
