The Bisbee's East Cape truly kicks off our 2011 Tournament Fishing Season and this is an event we look forward to every year. The event is hosted by the Hotel Buena Vista that sits on the shores of the Sea of Cortez in the East Cape region of Southern Baja, Mexico. An estimated $400,000 in prize money is up for grabs and Team Angel & The Badman II will be vying for another first place tournament finish.

Also known as the "little' Bisbee's, this one takes place just a few days prior to the "big" Bisbee's...... the famous Black & Blue, the richest sport fishing tournament in the world! Wayne Bisbee and his crew anticipate a field of seventy teams competing for an estimated $300,000 in prize money, not to mention the potential to take down first place. Team registration and events will take place at the Baja Cantina Dockside and beachside locations with the awards dinner taking place at the beachside location, right on the sand.

BISBEE'S BLACK & BLUE OFFSHORE FISHING TOURNAMENT - OCTOBER 18-22, 2011
Here's the one we all wait for.... the big one, the Bisbee's Black & Blue. As the 2007 overall champions, nothing would be finer than to repeat as champions of the richest sport fishing tournament in the world. When we won it in 2007, we took home a check for $739,000 but the biggest check written to a winning team topped out at $3.9 Million!! For 2010 an expected 200 teams will compete for over $4 million in cash awards. The event is covered extensively in both print and television with media crews coming from as far away as Japan and Russia.

This one may not be the richest tournament in Los Cabos, but you'd be hard pressed to find a tournament that's more fun or more widely attended.
